Editing and Critiquing Services for Writers

rates

diting and critiquing are done for free -- you only pay me if you find that what I have provided has value to you, and you pay me an amount that you determine. (See Payment for how to do that.) The following rates are purely suggesitve and customary in the industry:

• "Plain-vanilla" editing: $40/hour (US)
• Substantive editing, structural editing, consultation, critique: $45/hour (US)
• Ghostwriting: based on an individualized project contract
• For rush rates, add 25% to the total cost.
