There's Always Time For "Quickies"

There's nothing wrong with a quickie

And in the mixed bag of humor, intrigue, and downright silliness that is Alleyway Theatre's annual "Buffalo Quickies" one-act play festival, there's plenty that's right....

"Quickies" is less successful when it turns serious. Except, that is, for Michael Bettencourt's tightly constructed mystery piece "Biog," in which the devious Capella Secrest (Pamela Rose Mangus) and her assistant (Mike Seitz) engage in a mysterious pas de deux of ego and revelation.
